ItвЂ™s really hard to tell what has changed unless you are looking at the old-school Gamecube graphics and the PC graphics back to back, and when compared to more recent versions like the Wii version or the PSN and XBLA versions, most changes arenвЂ™t notable at all. The only thing that has really changed is the textures, and while their resolution has been updated they still look kind of flat. However, itвЂ™s one of the more barebones HD remakes out there. Of course, the graphics have to be updated, right? Well, yes, this is technically an HD remake. The same sounds, exactly like the Wii version, so once again if you are looking for anything updated you wonвЂ™t find it here. There arenвЂ™t remixed tracks, redubbed voice acting, or even redone sound effects. But if you are expecting extra characters, extra stages, extra costumes, or anything else to commemorate this gameвЂ™s long and storied history, you wonвЂ™t find it here.

Heck, you got to shotgun Texas Chainsaw Massacre clones in the face! Who doesnвЂ™t love that?! When it first came out for the Gamecube, it was nearly universally acclaimed. While we throw a fit these days when Leon Kennedy runs down a street filled with exploding cars, we just didnвЂ™t care back in the days of Resident Evil 4.

It stands as a symbol of changing times, when Resident Evil games became more action than horror based. Resident Evil 4 is the very definition of a timeless classic.
